How can I sign up with twitter?
Go to twitter.com to sign up. Twitter doesn't allow signing up via an API client. Also, the signup page doesn't support the iPhone browser. Please sign up from your PC, not from your iPhone browser.
I received the message: "Rate limit exceeded. Clients may not make more than 100 requests per hour" message. What does that mean?
Twitter allows API clients to access to their server only 100 times per hour. You may get this message if you either:
- Use more than two Twitter clients at the same time,
- Reload often,
- Or, open the user timeline / profile often.
If you receive this message, there is more information on twitter.
Also, For various reasons Twitter lowers the rate limit from time to time to preserve their server load.
TwitterFon keeps warning me that "Authentication Failed"
Twitter temporarily locks your account after too many failed login attempts. Try again after a few minutes.
Pro Only: How can I change themes?
TwitterFon Pro supports 4 themes for each twitter accounts, so you can change it from Account View.

Tap navigation bar to open Accounts View -> Tap Edit button -> Tap table cell you want to change accounts settings.
TwitterFon keeps warning me "Connection Failed: Untrusted Server Certificate".
TwitterFon can't connect to the twitter server with SSL if you set a wrong date or time on your iPhone/iPod, Please set the correct date and time.
How can I find users by their screen name?
Go to the Search tab and tap the search text field. Then the Trends button become a Profile button. Enter user name and tap Profile button to open a user's profile.

How do I open a conversation view?
Tap user name which follows "show conversation with" label on Tweet View to open a conversation view if the tweets has one.

The "Friends List View" on the "Post View" doesn't contain all of my friends.
TwitterFon adds a friend to the list whenever it receives tweets from a friend.
Version 1.5 or later: Tap reload button to refresh your friend list.
To remove from the list a person you are no longer following, open the person's profile page.
TwitterFon doesn't upload my location
TwitterFon only updates your profile location, doesn't insert the location info to your tweets.
Where are TwitterFon's settings?
TwitterFon's settings are in the system's "Settings.app".
TwitterFon keeps warning me "Local cache db error"
TwitterFon's local cache database is somehow corrupted. Please clear local cache from the system Settings.app.

TwitterFon crashes
If TwitterFon crashes, please send us a crash report log at support {at} naanstudio (dot) com. That will help debugging A LOT.
How to send a crash report
- Sync your iPhone with PC or Mac. This copies the crash log from your iPhone to the PC or Mac.
- Find the crash log on your PC or Mac in the folders listed below. The report files begin with "TwitterFon_":
- Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME>
- Windows Vista: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
- Send the crash report log to support {at} naanstudio (dot) com
